We offer 2 different kinds of pottery classes, wheel throwing, and hand-building.

POTTERY WHEEL CLASSES…

Prepare to experience the thrill of transforming a simple lump of clay into a one-of-a-kind work of art! Our pottery wheel classes are perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, offering a fun, relaxed environment where creativity comes to life. With step-by-step guidance from our professional instructors, you’ll learn the exciting techniques of wheel throwing as you shape, center, and form your own unique pottery. Whether you’re trying the wheel for the first time or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave inspired, accomplished, and eager to create more.

There are 2 Pottery wheel classes to choose from – Give It a Whirl, designed for beginners, and Level Up, designed for those who have some experience on the wheel. Note: experienced students are welcome to register for the Give It a Whirl class if it works better with their schedule.

GIVE IT A WHIRL

Give It a Whirl classes meet once a week for 3 weeks.

Ages: 10 and up

Cost: $150

**Students should bring a towel to class.  Clay can be messy!

LEVEL UP WHEEL

Level Up meets once a week for 4 weeks.

Ages:  12 and up

Cost: $175

**Students should bring a towel to class.

HAND-BUILDING CLASSES…

HANDS-ON CLAY

Looking for a fun, hands-on activity where you can get creative (and a little messy)? Our Hands-On Clay class is perfect! It’s generally easier than working on a potter’s wheel, so you can dive right in and enjoy the tactile experience of shaping and creating with clay.

In this class, you will learn fundamental techniques like pinch, coil, and slab and use these methods to transform a lump of clay into your very own unique masterpiece. Get ready for some imaginative and exciting creations!

This class will meet 2 consecutive weeks (1 for making your piece, and 1 for glazing), the first class will be from 12:00-2:00, and the second class from 12:00-1:00.

Ages: 8-Adult

Cost: $75
